Understanding Flirting: Social Cues & Boundaries
Reading body language, facial expressions, and non-verbal communication is a critical life skill. This activity helps students recognize when to continue a conversation and when to stop based on social cues.
Students and instructors can role-play saying "Hi!" in a flirtatious way to the person depicted. Then, they must determine if that person seems interested or if it’s clear they are not interested. What should they do next? Continue the conversation or stop?
This engaging activity encourages discussions about respecting boundaries, understanding non-verbal cues, and keeping social interactions safe.
